Last week I shared a word that the Lord had given me in a post titled, I Will Give You Victory in Your Darkest Hour. I highly encourage you to read it because I believe that through all of the toils and warfare taking place in America and the Body of Christ, God is revealing what He is doing and how He is moving in this crucial hour and moment in history. Below is an excerpt of the word:
“I am cleansing the ranks and establishing those with faces like flint who will not break rank or deviate from their appointed position and assigned task. They will not relent in advancing, nor hunker down in fear and defeat; they know that I have never lost a battle. They shall scale mountain peaks and walls ransacking the enemy’s camp as I send forth My Spirit and angel armies ahead of them. Everything stolen shall be recovered as they plunder the enemy’s camp.
Surely, nothing shall remain untouched by these as they carry within them My righteousness, justice, and fire! Like a wildfire they shall advance until they have established My Kingdom in the furthest reaches of the earth! All that is against Me will be burned up in My cleansing fire and abundant life shall spring forth from the ashes.”
One thing the Lord highlighted to me through the word I shared is in reference to the Body of Christ right now. She has been shaken yet again with the turn of events since the election and the mayhem and chaos that has continued on all sides; and now today we saw an exchange of positions in our government.
We are seeing a war taking place before our very eyes and I am not talking about the war between political parties, though there be one. I am talking about the greatest spiritual battle ever to exist–the war between the light and dark. Everything that can be shaken is being shaken once again, as I prophesied in August of 2019, The Great Sift for the Shift: The Call to Holiness.
There is a great tumult in the Body of Christ and we are seeing the Accuser of the brethren doing what he has always done in his attempt to divide and conquer; “for a house divided shall not stand” (Matthew 12:25-28.) The sad thing is that many are falling for it. They have pitted themselves against each other and have set out on rampages to crucify the prophets and anyone standing firm in faith for the prophet’s word, “believe in the Lord your God, and you shall be established; believe His prophets, and you shall prosper” (2 Chronicles 20:20) and for the soul of the nation of America to be saved. The spirit of religion and unbelief that sought to silence the prophets of old and to crucify Jesus and those who would carry His Word and His name to the nations is the same one in full operation today.
This afternoon I was preparing a cup of tea. I took the mug that I use often that was a gift during our prior season as pastors in a local church; which says, “Pastor’s Wife”. It had a slight crack on the very top lip that has been there a long time, but it fit just right, if you know what I mean.
I had poured the tea into the mug and as I lifted it, suddenly, it burst clear down to the bottom and tea began spilling out all over the counter. I quickly held it over the container I had made the tea in to preserve what was left of the precious liquid gold inside. When I did, suddenly the raging river of tea turned to a slight trickle allowing me to pour the tea back into the container.
In that moment I felt Holy Spirit speak and say:
This is what happens when My Church attempts to remain an old broken vessel that is not fit to house My new wine. This is what takes place when she tries to take possession of the new wave I am releasing in her current condition. She shall buckle under the weight of it and be overtaken. She will not survive living out of days gone by. She must be revived, renewed, and transformed into the vessel worthy of My calling and worthy of My outpouring. Only then shall she be prepared for what is being released out of the heavens into the earth. It is sweeter than she believes. It is greater that she knows.
Where are those who would live out of a place of broken abandon to My Spirit’s moving, and not resist it? Where are they who would allow the breaking to be their remaking?
Arise and come forth, My remade vessels of glory! Come forth from the forge of cleansing and the purge! Arise Holy Vessels of My Spirit’s delight! It’s time to take flight!
We see in Judges 6 that the people of God had been attacked, stolen from, and they cried out to the Lord for aid. He sent a prophet to declare the Word of the Lord to them, reminding them of all He had done to rescue them from slavery in Egypt; and of His command that they not give themselves over to idols…but they had not listened. Then God sent Jesus pre-incarnate to call forth an insignificant man in the world’s eyes, and even his own, to deliver them. His eye had always been on Gideon, a “Mighty Man of Valor”.
Valor: “Great courage in the face of danger, especially in battle.”
Gideon then brought Jesus an offering. Israel had been reduced to starvation, so it is likely that Gideon sacrificed all that he still possessed and in giving up everything, he gained everything in return. A simple act of obedience was rewarded and the fire of God burned up his offering, as well as igniting a blaze within him. He met the Lord face to face and became a reflection of that which he beheld.
Judges 6:24 NLT
And Gideon built an altar to the Lord there and named it Yahweh-Shalom (which means “the Lord is peace”). The altar remains in Ophrah in the land of the clan of Abiezer to this day.
A supernatural peace was implanted within his spirit as he planted an altar of praise in the soil of a starving land.
SHALOM: “Complete–soundness, welfare, prosperity, safety, health, favored, wholeness, lacking nothing.”
In this hour, God is looking for Mighty Men and Women of Valor, Great Warriors to rise up and to bring deliverance to this broken nation. His eyes are upon those who have found themselves threshing old callings in winepresses to take heed of His draft and to grab hold of His Word and run with it.
He is calling forth the Peacemakers to establish SHALOM where the enemy has attempted to infiltrate with peacekeepers. It is these who will erect altars of praise to Yahweh; and will till up dry and fallow ground, sowing SHALOM seeds into the soils of nations and hearts.
Father, we join with You in what You are doing in America and across the nations! We ask you that you would cast us into Your forge of purification and burn up burned out callings, insecurities, and fear!
Remake us, remold us, reshape us to be the vessels You desire, worthy of Your calling! Implant Your Shalom within us that we may run to the desolate, broken, war-torn places, and right to the enemy’s camp, to erect Your Shalom and overthrow darkness! We enlist right now into Your Burning Ones Army and forsake everything to further Your cause in the earth and to establish Your Kingdom here, right now, on earth as it is in Heaven!
