There is a great shaking in the Body of Christ taking place in this season. We are seeing many respected leaders falling away and leaving their faith, accusations of misconduct coming forth towards others, and many are in the throes of warfare and demonic opposition. In recent weeks the Lord has put a heaviness upon my heart and spirit towards His holiness; and I have felt extremely led to hide away in the secret place with Him. In the past few days He began to remind me of a number of dreams and words that He gave me drawing towards this shaking that is taking place. I did not understand much of it at the time, however He is beginning to open the eyes of my understanding to see and know what He is speaking and revealing.
In the coming days I will share some of these dreams and words as He leads. I truly believe that we are in a time where God is shaking His Church right-side up and that He is enacting a greater call and command into His holiness. While praying and dwelling on this, I heard Him say:
“There will come a great sift for the shift. Things cannot stay the same and remain as they were; for where I am going, anything that is unclean and unholy cannot enter through the door. The door is narrow and only that which reflects My holiness and glory can enter through it.
Do not be surprised at what you see in the days ahead as I continue the sifting and shaking. I am sifting out all of the junk, the dross that hinders My Bride from entering into true purity and reverence of My name and nature.
No longer can My Bride remain straddled upon an imaginary fence, enjoying the fleeting pleasures of this life while being double-minded and half-hearted. This really is an ALL IN OR NOT IN AT ALL kairos moment in time.
For behold, a door stands before those with eyes to see, ears to hear, and a holy heart of wisdom and understanding. My voice is beckoning them higher into the unseen realm, the realm where Righteousness dwells!
Where are they who would put away the pleasures of this life for that which cannot be taken away?! Where are they who would seek My face above all other earthly things?! Where are they who would be Living Light; manifestations of My holiness in the earth?!“
Moses never got to feast on the fruits of the land long promised him, nor was he allowed to even set foot in it. He was only allowed to gaze upon it from a distance and had to watch a new generation be risen up to take possession of it.
How could it be that the man whom God had raised up to be a deliverer for His chosen people would never see the fullness of the deliverance?
How could it be that the man whom God refers to as His friend would be the greatest betrayer of his day?
How could it be that the one man whom God allowed into His glory time and time again, whose very face shone with the glory of God, and who met with God face to face, would be removed from that Presence at the end of his days?
God clearly reveals to us the answer in the following passages:
Numbers 20:6-13 (AMP)
Then Moses and Aaron went from the presence of the assembly to the doorway of the Tent of Meeting (tabernacle) and fell on their faces [before the Lord in prayer]. Then the glory and brilliance of the Lord appeared to them; and the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,
“Take the rod; and you and your brother Aaron assemble the congregation and speak to the rock in front of them, so that it will pour out its water. In this way you shall bring water for them out of the rock and let the congregation and their livestock drink [fresh water].”Â
So Moses took the rod from before the Lord, just as He had commanded him;  and Moses and Aaron gathered the assembly before the rock. Moses said to them, “Listen now, you rebels; must WE bring you water out of this rock?”
Then Moses raised his hand [in anger] and with his rod he struck the rock twice [instead of speaking to the rock as the Lord had commanded]. And the water poured out abundantly, and the congregation and their livestock drank [fresh water].
But the Lord said to Moses and Aaron, “Because you have not believed (trusted) Me, to treat Me as holy in the sight of the sons of Israel, you therefore shall not bring this assembly into the land which I have given them.“ These are the waters of Meribah (contention, strife), where the sons of Israel contended with the Lord, and He showed Himself holy among them.
In Deuteronomy 32:49-52, the Lord told Moses to go upon a mountain and overlooking the Promised Land; but he would die and never enter it. In verse 51, God says, “For both of you betrayed Me with the Israelites at the waters of Meribah at Kadesh in the wilderness of Zin. You failed to demonstrate My holiness to the people of Israel there.“
When we fail to be a manifestation and demonstration of the holiness of God through our very existence, we have lost our fixation upon the ONE THING.Â
Things started out great; they went into the secret place and the Presence and Glory of God resonated in their midst. However, Moses lost sight of what God commanded, which was to declare to the rock the promise of living waters that were to come forth.
Moses became more fixated on man and emotions and allowed them to lead him into the grievous sin of attempting to touch God’s glory.
He struck the rock and yes, waters flowed forth; but he disobeyed God and he operated out of self-glory (“must WE bring you water out of this rock?”). He performed a sign and wonder out of the anointing without the holiness and glory of God covering it. Therefore, God showed Himself holy among them through the act because Moses did not partner with Him in the miracle.
Sadly, because of that act, Moses’ promise was stripped from him and he was forced to gaze at a distance the Promised Land he gave his life for.Â
We see in 2 Corinthians 3:13Â that Moses put a veil over his face to hide the diminishing glory.
If we take on the likeness of that which we behold, then the glory glow on Moses’ face was a direct reflection and manifestation of that which he beheld as he stood
FACE TO FACE with the HOLY GOD.
In Moses wearing a veil over his face, it was intended to hide the diminishing glory.
The betrayal God is talking about in the passages above includes that Moses failed to demonstrate His Holiness because he began to lose sight of FIXING HIS EYES ON THE HOLY GOD. Out of this failing, HE FELL INTO UNBELIEF.DO NOT EVER LOSE SIGHT OF THE ONE MAIN THING!!!
FIX YOUR EYES OF JESUS!!!
In Leviticus 10:1-3, Nadab and Abihu “disobeyed the Lord by burning before Him the wrong kind of fire, different than He had commanded.” Their disobedience and lack of reverence for what is holy cost them their lives as the fire of God burned them up. Moses told Aaron, “This is what the Lord meant when He said, ‘I will display My holiness through those who come near Me. I will display My glory before all the people.’“Â
We will all face the Holy Fire of God. We will either pass through it and everything unholy will be burned out of us and off of us that we may emerge reflecting the brilliance of His holiness…or we will be consumed by it and lose our place and promise.

We have this great promise and encouragement as we press into the pressing and the forge:
2 Corinthians 3:16-18Â (NLT)
But whenever someone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. For the Lord is the Spirit, and wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. So all of us who have had that veil removed can see and reflect the glory of the Lord. And the Lord—who is the Spirit—makes us more and more like Him as we are changed into His glorious image.
May this be our prayer: “Oh, Holy Lord! Put us in the forge that we may emerge a holy being sanctified and glorified in You! Burn out and off of us anything that would make us an unworthy vessel for Your Presence to dwell in and flow through…at any cost!!! May we not offer up to You strange fire! May we decrease that You may be fully and wholly increased in us and through us all of our days!!!”Â
