Here I am again…doing the very thing I have longed to do in the depths of my heart, though I have been in a five year sabbatical. These past five years have been wonderful and have born amazing fruit, growth, fiery babies, and much more. In these years, I have delved into the secret place, the forge, the Throneroom; and in it all, Father has been so faithful to mold me and shape me into a new creation with His defined purpose.

There were times of sending when we sent Jeremiah out into the nations and incredible fruit  and souls were harvested for His Glory. I didn’t know that Papa would have a few surprises up His sleeve and would release me to finally be a Sent One again this year…not once, but twice! How good He is!

So here I sit, in the still breeze of a cool Spanish evening in Alicante, taking it all in. This marks my third time to Spain and this trip bears a different branding and release. You can find past words from our time in Spain under the “Spain” tab to the right.

In the past year, the Lord has refined one of our roles in the Kingdom of God; which is to go forth as insurgents, infiltrating enemy territory and to break open pent up wells, unlocked barred gates, and to usher in the Kingdom of Heaven here on earth. I felt very strongly the Lord emphasizing Ezekiel 37, of which He highlighted to us during our prior visit. The last time we were in Spain in February of 2014, our friend said that upon the night before our arrival, an unusually strong wind came through of which they had not encountered before. He felt that God was bringing something new upon the winds and our arrival was a sign of that. We went there decree a thing that it may be established.

This recent encounter however, I felt a strong emphasis on the second part. God came to Ezekiel and asked him if he thought the valley of dead, dry bones could live again. He then told Ezekiel to speak a prophetic message to the bones to come to life. He declared that His response to the prophetic decree would be that He would breathe the breath of His Spirit upon the bones that they would reassemble and come to life. As I dwelt on that part, I began to hear a great rattling in the Spirit that was as deafening as the wind I heard in the last post titled, To Spain for the Glory of His Name.

I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “The dry bones are coming to life! They are assembling into a mighty army! Can you see them? Can you hear them? Look out and see them arise to be My Fire-Brands!” 

I then received a vision of Jesus and as I gazed into His eyes, He looked down and in His hands was the nation of Spain. He had cared for it tenderly in the palm of His hands. He then took out a match and struck it upon the nation, lighting a fire. The spark seemed small, but with one swift breath from His lips, the whole nation was lit ablaze within His hands. With great delight and joy, He stoked the flame until it spilled out from His hands and poured forth like oil.

We have been questioned many times before on if Spain really needs us to go and there are misconceptions on the relational status of the Church in Spain with Jesus. The reality is that Spain is predominantly Catholic by status and religion. There is little to none of a presence of young people in the Church because they are not looking for religion, and have yet to be introduced to a relationship with the Man, Jesus. It is very difficult to find a Spanish church here, for most of the churches have been pioneered or are being run by immigrants, especially from Argentina. In talking with our host, Pastor Abel this afternoon, he stated that there are still about 3,500 towns in Spain lacking a church. His desire is to see churches planted in every part of the nation. This is what Paul went to Spain to do. He set his sights on Spain as  Jesus set His sights on Spain, which was known as the ends of the earth to the west in those days. Just as Paul did, we go forth that we may impart some spiritual gift and blessing, that a mutual encouragement may come forth; and that we might train, equip, and send out the Spanish people of this land to take their nation for Jesus. Jesus is after souls, and so are we!

“So I spoke the message as He commanded me, and breath came into their bodies. They all came to life and stood up on their feet—a great army. Then He said to me, ‘Son of man, these bones represent the people of Israel. They are saying, ‘We have become old, dry bones—all hope is gone. Our nation is finished.’ Therefore, prophesy to them and say, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: O My people, I will open your graves of exile and cause you to rise again. Then I will bring you back to the land of Israel. When this happens, O My people, you will know that I am the Lord. I will put my Spirit in you, and you will live again and return home to your own land. Then you will know that I, the Lord, have spoken, and I have done what I said. Yes, the Lord has spoken!’”

One specific Kingdom assignment that I have in being here is to prophesy Awakening, Life, and to call forth the Mighty Army that has been enlisted here in Spain. What we learn from this encounter with Ezekiel is this: You need only open your mouth to declare the Word of the Lord, and Heaven and earth responds! I feel very strongly that the earth will respond to this Word and that there will be a manifestation of an earthquake reflecting the spiritual shift as it did in Ezekiel’s day. This was prophesied back last year of which I shared a few days ago in the post, To Spain for the Glory of His Name. Upon my research, there have been small-sale earthquakes and tremors taking place in this region for the past few weeks, which is rather uncommon it seems. All of creation responds to the Word of the Lord.

Will you believe with us for this Mighty Army of the Lord in Spain? Will you contend with us for a harvest of souls greater than has been seen in the history of Spain to come forth? I truly believe that great power is released through the prayers of the saints arising upon the altar of the Lord, and that the bowls of Heaven are tipping right now to bear forth a flood of revival never before seen in Spain!
