A few days ago, I shared the first part of a Word that the Lord revealed out of John 4 called, The NOW Harvest: Part 1. To gain insight and further understanding into what I will be sharing in this post, you can read the post in the link above. Today, I will be sharing the rest of the revelation out of John 4 as well as the Word the Lord spoke in my quiet time with Him.

In the first post, we went through the encounter in John 4 after Jesus met with the Samaritan woman at the well. As He revealed His true identity to her, His disciples returned with His lunch. Urging Him to eat, He responded that His nourishment comes from doing the will of the One Who sent Him and bringing it to completion. Verse 35 in The Passion Translation says, “Look at all the people coming—NOW is harvest time! For their hearts are like vast fields of ripened grain—READY for a spiritual harvest.” (emphasis added)  I shared earlier this past week in the post, Time for the Accelerated Ascent, about a dream that I had in which the Lord revealed the size of the Harvest and that the totality of His harvesters had yet to awaken to the reality that the time is NOW! When reading this passage, I was overwhelmed once again with the heart of the Father for the arising and awakening of His harvesters. He began to speak to me saying,

My daughter, the Harvest is so ripe, it is over-ripe! Oh, how I long to release the Harvest in mounting proportions! Partner with Me in reaping the reward and join in on the Great Blessing and Mighty Celebration! Together we will change things and turn it all around! Glory and Fire is rising like a fresh wave. A new sound is crescendoing upon the waves that will shake the nations awake! Do you hear the sound? Do you see what it carries upon its wings? Awakening is coming and indeed, IT IS HERE NOW! WAKE UP and RISE UP, oh, Burning Ones! Destiny be released today!!!

Beloved, we must stop begging God to come and rain down on us. The reality is His rains of Revival have already been released unto us. Joel 2:23 speaks of this. This is a time where the divine convergence of the former and the latter rains birth a synergy of outpouring and His Spirit floods the nations. Joel also makes it plainly clear in verse 12-13, “Even now,” says the Lord, “Turn and come to Me with all your heart [in genuine repentance], with fasting and weeping and mourning [until every barrier is removed and the broken fellowship is restored]; rip your heart to pieces [in sorrow and contrition] and not your garments. Now return [in repentance] to the Lord your God, for He is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger, abounding in lovingkindness [faithful to His covenant with His people]; and He relents [His sentence of] evil [when His people genuinely repent].” The point of this is that the totality of the rains of His Spirit have already descended into the earthly realm, for it is His Spirit that abides in us. It is our duty to cry out for a mighty action and demonstration to be released through His Harvesters. Jesus understood that fasting precedes an outpouring. Fasting prepares the way for the Harvest. Fasting separates the wheat from the tares. For over a year, the Lord has been asking me, “How hungry are you?”

So, I must ask you, how hungry are you? Are you willing to forsake the temporary nourishment to reap an eternal reward of souls?

John 4:36 in The Passion Translation says, “And everyone who reaps these souls for eternal life will receive a reward. And those who plant spiritual seeds and those who reap the harvest will celebrate together with great joy!” The Message says, ^36-38 “The Harvester isn’t waiting. He’s taking his pay, gathering in this grain that’s ripe for eternal life. Now the Sower is arm in arm with the Harvester, triumphant. That’s the truth of the saying, ‘This one sows, that one harvests.’ I sent you to harvest a field you never worked. Without lifting a finger, you have walked in on a field worked long and hard by others.”

The reality is, if the Bride of Christ had awaken from its slumbering state years ago, even after the persecution of the Church spread thousands of years ago, and had arisen to the authority that Jesus bestowed upon all Believers when He ascended and His Spirit and fire fell, the entirety of the world would’ve been saved long ago. John speaks of this truth to the seven churches in Revelation 2-3. I believe much of the Body is in the same state of the Church in Sardis in Revelation 3.

It is time to WAKE UP! The Harvester is not waiting, He is going to gather what is His; but He desires, and in fact longs for us to join Him in a Precious Partnership! The word “sent” in verse 38 is the Greek word, “apostello”, where we get the word apostle. It means, “to send forth as a messenger, to commission.” This is an outright commission from Jesus to go out and harvest what was not ours to plant. Jesus, Himself said that others have gone ahead and put forth the labor and OUR JOB IS TO REAP! Who wouldn’t want to do that?!?!

I have seen this harvest, this new wave. I have heard the thunder of the feet of the souls to be harvested stampeding upon the waves. I have heard the roar of the Lion of the Tribe of Judah bellowing forth His voice, calling His mighty army to rise, fight, and reap! I have seen the fire in His eyes that burns for the nations, that burns for souls.

My prayer for you today is that you would receive this word, either for the first time, or anew. I pray that you would seek out to reap the harvest with intentionality, pursue His Presence increasingly, counting the cost and determining that the sacrifice is so worth it to the Glory of the One Who gave His life for us. I pray that you would draw near to Him so close that the same fire that rages in His eyes and heart for the nations, the Harvest, would sear your very being and brand you with His consuming fire of Love. All unto the commissioning of power and transformation.
