On April 5, 2018, the Lord placed a spirit of travail upon me, opening my eyes to the reality of the horrors that have been taking place in the nation of Syria over the past seven years and that have continued taking place even present day. The sorrow and pain in His heart for His children was so heavy that I was unable to bear the weight of it. He spoke an urgent word then which I shared my the post, Intervention for Syria.

I have been closely watching the events taking place in Syria and praying the word of the Lord forth. Early this morning while in prayer, He burdened me with a deep urgency to pray unlike other urgings that I have felt prior to. In this place of urgency, He spoke a cataclysmic word of the dire need for watchmen to arise and stand upon the walls in intercession for the nation and future of Syria.

The Word of the Lord came unto me saying,

Oh, Syria, I will not leave you broken, for I will restore you. The enemy has sifted you and tried to cast your life into the fire instead of your dead, lifeless, and fruitless parts. I have seen the sheer atrocities set upon you and indeed, I am and have been utterly displeased! I am sickened by the evil in man’s heart. With every life lost to the hands of evil, the enemy truly brings a holy righteous anger boiling forth from Me. I hear many crying out, “when will it end?!”, as the cries for justice burst forth from the blood-stained ground.

An assassination plot will be carried out against your heartless ‘leader’ and he will be removed, yes, plucked from his seat of power. Just when he thinks that he has it made, has taken control of you and is seated in his lush high place, I will rip his throne right out from under him; just as I did with Haman. His pride and greed has set him up in high places and his world will soon come crumbling down in a burning heap of rubble! Every stronghold that he has laid up for himself in high places will come crashing down around him.

I will use this time to break in and bring relief from the death, destruction, and decay that has rampantly spread throughout your land for far too long. BUT, YOU MUST PRAY, oh, Syria! This window of opportunity will be brief; and the enemy is a blood-sucking leech.

The battle in the unseen over your life is greater than the war that has ravaged your land and slaughtered your children. There is a great war over your very existence and the enemy is dead-set on continuing his campaign of death until nothing remains but ashes. YOU MUST PRAY with the urgency of Mordecai burning in your hearts, that the spirit of Esther would arise in this window of time.

The enemy’s runner-up in this edict of death is far more evil at heart that his predecessor; for he would seek to claim this throne illegitimately. Yes, he has been training up in the spirit of divination in the secret place awaiting his chance to take over. Even this man has been placing curses on Assad to get his opponent out of the way. As evil as the demonic influence has been within Assad, how much deeper the seed of evil that is in the heart of this Hazael.

Where Assad would seek to gain control of every square inch of your land, no matter the cost; Hazael would seek only utter decimation. Where Assad destroys indiscriminately; Hazael would annihilate with intentionality all of your weak and vulnerable ones to completely destroy your bloodline and wipe your future from existence. YOU MUST PRAY for Michael, My fiercest warrior to intervene with victory in this window and DO NOT HESITATE OR DELAY, for the enemy of your souls stands at your doorsteps!

Brothers and sisters, we absolutely cannot stand idly by any longer and think that just because these atrocities are being carried out on the other side of the globe that it does not affect us. Every single thing that takes place in the earth has a direct effect on the physical and spiritual present and future of creation.

No longer can we stand idly by in our pathetic apathy as Christians when the future of our Syrian family is in the hands of the enemy! If you look up pictures and read up on the news from this nation or any other nation in the world going through conflict and you find yourself numb and true compassion doesn’t engulf you to the point of beseeching the Lord for intervention and warring in the spirit, then you have allowed yourself to become so numb to the heart of the Father. You have allowed yourself to become separated from the reality of His design for us. It is time to awaken out of our spiritual slumber and step up to the plate. The enemy wants to keep us under spiritual anesthesia so that we are uncaring and unaware of the havoc he is wreaking in the earth.

We were created to shift and flow with Him, to partner with Him in what He is doing in the earth and in the heavenly realm. “To do nothing out of self-preservation is to be dead already.” This word is for Syria, but it is also for the Global Family of God. It is a call to come out of spiritual disconnect and to awaken to the reality that the power of the Kingdom of Heaven is within us. When we pray, we are releasing a thunderous sound into the supernatural realm that shakes demonic dominions, uproots unbreakable fortresses of darkness, and destroys the influence of the enemy in the earth!
