This morning I heard the Lord saying in my time with Him, “Come a little closer, My dear. Draw a little nearer, higher up the mountain with Me; for there are some secrets I want to show you.”

I was then caught up in the spirit and taken to a drug house where there was a couple who were high on drugs with an infant. Something happened and the man picked up a box and began filling it with drugs and needles as the woman sat behind him with her baby in her arms. He handed the box to me and they, though still being high, gave me all that they had for they had a new reason for life.

Suddenly, I found myself standing in the clouds overlooking a large river that ran through Detroit with a large bridge crossing it. Then an angel joined me to stand on my right and I asked what this was. He said, “watch and see!” I looked to the river that was filthy as darkness blanketed the city. Just then, a bright and explosive light occurred in the dark clouds and a massive angel the height of a skyscraper entered into our realm from Heaven clothed in golden light. He shot down and landed on the bridge entrance, where he then drew his sword and thrusted into the bridge all the way through into the river. A mighty shaking took place and a golden glory shot through his sword into the river. I could see demons that had been bringing in the opioids stopped dead in their tracks on the bridge, unable to pass through his sword.

A cracking began to take place from his sword behind him into the road and traveled through city streets and blocks until it reached the steps of a demonic temple in the center of the city. It traveled up the steps and into the temple all the way into the secret chambers where there was a fire and statues of Baal and Baphomet. The crack struck both statues and each came crumbling to the ground, and the fire was extinguished.

I was taken to the angel once again. Then a secondary shaking occurred and an explosion shot from his sword upward into the sky, where a golden portal opened with angels flooding into the city from heaven. They flocked into alleyways and in homes, destroying all drugs and began to take possession back from what was used for evil. I asked the angel next to me what I was seeing. He said, “you are seeing the crack down on what has rained here for far too long.“ I replied, “this region has such a rich heritage of revival and so many revivalist to have poured themselves out here to establish Your Kingdom, Lord.“

Suddenly, I felt a hand on my right shoulder and I turned to see Jesus standing next to me with a smile on His face. He said in response to my statement, “Yes, I love this land and I am striking the land with My divine justice. I am interrupting and disrupting the channels of access to demonic interferences and influences. What you see before you is the portal of Heaven open right on top of the enemy’s gateway access and he is being kicked out for good! I am going back to the heart in the door of access to pharmakeia and divination and they are being destroyed. No longer will I stand and watch the enemy destroy what has been planted here.
I am bringing healing to these waters from the overflow of the river in Heaven. No longer will these waters be filled with filth, for I am bringing cleansing and it shall now be called the Euphrates. You will see all these things take place in the days to come; and then a mighty outbreak will come forth of Heaven invading earth, here and forever. Mark My words, so shall it be! Declare its coming!“

Then I found myself back in my chair.

After I recorded this encounter, I began to look up Michigan and Detroit, for I know very little other than some revival history in the days of old; and I have never been to Michigan. I began to search and see if there was indeed a river that flowed through the city and was shocked to find that I indeed was taken above the city overlooking Ambassador Bridge, where I saw the angel stand upon and open Heaven’s portal. The bridge stands over the Detroit River, connecting the U.S. to Canada; and it is the busiest international border crossing in terms of trade. The river has also been one of the most polluted in the region. Blocks down from where I watched the crack travel is the world’s largest masonic temple, in the exact place I saw it stop in the encounter.

I believe what Jesus was revealing is that the opioid epidemic and the darkness affecting Detroit has been ushered in through demonic activity and witchcraft stemming from this temple. The temple was opened on February 22, 1926 (2-22). I believe there was a handing over of the keys of the Kingdom (Isaiah 22:22) to the enemy that took place in that day and a continuous spiral downward began leading Detroit to death and decay.

Where there should have been watchmen on the wall in those days and gatekeepers keeping guard of the city and that gateway, somewhere there was a failure to stand at post and protect the city from enemy invaders.

The good news is, God is alerting His gatekeepers and watchmen in this hour once more to stand at your posts, take back the keys of access, and to decree and declare that Heaven’s portal be opened over Detroit!

Join with us in prayer over Detroit, that she would become what she was always designed to be!

May every idol be cast down in Detroit, Michigan and Jesus be lifted high! May every spirit of darkness and death be destroyed and their spells broken in Jesus’ mighty name! As a gatekeeper and watchman on the wall, I take up the keys of the Kingdom and I bind every demonic access into this city and state, I lock the door permanently in Jesus’ name! I fling wide the door to Heaven and say, let Heaven come and fill this city! Let her rivers be cleansed as Jesus said, and that she now be called the Euphrates (The Good Fruitful One); and that the overflow of the River in Heaven would bring healing to her city and people as it is in Heaven!

The river was flowing in the middle of the street of the city, and on either side of the river was the Tree of Life, with its twelve kinds of ripe fruit according to each month of the year. The leaves of the Tree of Life are for the healing of the nations. And every curse will be broken and no longer exist, for the throne of God and of the Lamb will be there in the city. His loving servants will serve Him; they will see constantly His face, and His name will be on their foreheads. Night will be no more. They will never need the light of the sun or a lamp, because the Lord God will shine on them. And they will reign as kings forever and ever!”
