This morning while in the secret place, I had been reading the last few chapters of Mark’s account of Jesus’ path to the cross, His resurrection, His encounters with believers and His friends after His resurrection, and of His commission to His apostles to go into all the earth, preach the Good News and make disciples.

I reflected upon what Jesus did during those specific last days two-thousand years ago. He suffered continuous betrayal, died a cruel sinner’s death upon the cross, though He be sinless. He shattered the gates of hell and took back the keys of death and the grave, and He rose to life victoriously. He commissioned His apostles and us to go to every nation, tribe, and tongue and declare that the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand; and He ascended to sit upon His heavenly throne and reign victoriously forever. He went to prepare a place for us.

As I sat overwhelmed with a fresh revelation of this reality leading up to Resurrection Day tomorrow, He began to speak to me about what He is doing now and what He is going to do. I heard Him say:

“Glory and splendor are rising unto My name. Death has been defeated and I am victorious in light!!! You will look and see My glory in ways unheard of! So much joy is coming in a mighty increase, yes, a mighty crescendo throughout eternity.

The nations will gaze upon Me and be filled with new life!

My glory is My goodness; and I restore what was broken and severed. You have yet to know what I am going to do! For what is coming is going to be greater than what has been!

For My name’s sake, I am bringing with Me a new light and a new life in this present darkness. Where the sun and moon will be darkened, I will bring a flash of light that will be a sign to you of My promise. A sign of release to My gift of restoration will you see.

I am taking what was broken and left in destitution and I am rebuilding a new creation, far better than what was. The nations will gaze upon what I masterfully create and will be amazed and in awe and wonder!

You will know the age of rejoicing has come by these signs. Come with your joy offerings and your sacrifices of love and watch what I do! I make all things better than before! I make all things new!”

Isaiah 60:1-4 (TPT)
“Rise up in splendor and be radiant, for your light has dawned, and Yahweh’s glory now streams from you! Look carefully! Darkness blankets the earth, and thick gloom covers the nations, but Yahweh arises upon you and the brightness of His glory appears over you! Nations will be attracted to your radiant light and kings to the sunrise-glory of your new day. Lift up your eyes higher! Look all around you and believe, for your sons are returning from far away and your daughters are being tenderly carried home. Watch as they all gather together, eager to come back to you!”

“Foreigners will rebuild your walls and their kings will serve you. Even though I punished you in My anger, I will restore you in My gracious favor, and show you My tender compassion.”
“The descendants of your oppressors will come bowing low before you, and all who hated you will bow down at your feet. They will call you The Beautiful City of Yahweh, Glorious Zion of the Holy One of Israel.”

“Although once you were rejected and despised, undesirable for anyone to pass through you, I will make you majestic forever, a source of joy for every generation. You will guzzle the milk of nations and suckle at the breast of kings. You will know Me intimately that I am Yahweh, your Savior, for I am the Mighty Hero who rules over Jacob’s tribes, your Kinsman-Redeemer!”

V. 19-22 (TPT)
“The sun will no longer be needed to brighten the day, nor the moon to shine at night, for Yahweh will be your unfailing light; your God will be your glory! There will be no more sunsets or new moons, for Yahweh will be your everlasting light and your days of sadness will be over. All your people will be righteous and will permanently possess the land. I planted them there as a tender sapling, the work of My own hands to display My glory. I will multiply the least of you into a thousand and the weakest one into a mighty nation. I am Yahweh, and when the right time comes, I will accomplish it swiftly!”
