While in prayer yesterday morning, the Lord began to press very heavily in my spirit the situation taking place in Syria. He then spoke a pertinent word about what will come:

 

“Every soul is precious to Me. For far too long, the enemy of your souls has invaded with intent to destroy, yes, completely obliterate you. The value of life means nothing to him, which is why he delights in going after the most innocent ones. 

The silence of the media to your injustice has not fallen to deaf ears. It has fallen upon the ears of My sons and daughters who have been warring on your behalf; and those prayers and petitions have arisen to My own ears, along with the cry of injustice. 

You are not forgotten, Syria! Many have cried out to Me to enter in and to intervene on your behalf. I AM justice! I have looked and seen the lack of justice for you and I AM stepping in. I am starting by removing the corruption in your governmental covering. The profit being made off of the souls of the nation for illegal purposes is coming to an end. Your leader, Bashar al-Assad sold his soul over to the devil long ago. He has led enough of his sheep to the slaughter. Enough is enough! Indeed, he will be removed from office and his campaign will cease. The hold he has possessed over you is coming to an end. 

Because the prayers and petitions of My righteous ones on your behalf have met My ears, I will bring in someone unexpected to lead you into a new era of renewal and rebuilding. The enemy intended to bring in someone far more evil and destructive but the bold ones seeking Me have triumphed in prayer over the enemy. He will be one who welcomes the aid of helping nations as they come to rebuild your homes. Yes, you will see your children coming back to you upon the horizon. From the farthest reaches of the earth they will return to you. 

No longer will you weep and mourn as you hold your lifeless babies in your arms. Yes, the tears will end. No more weeping, no more sorrow. Light will begin to sweep across your land to bring a new dawn of hope to you. Be amazed at what I do! There is nothing that can stop what I am doing. No power or principality can stand in the way. What was lost will return to you and in all these things, you will draw near to Me. Never forget that I draw near to the broken-hearted. And as you lean into Me, I draw even closer. Truly, Syria will be alive again! The brightness of your rising will be a beacon of hope to nations still stumbling in darkness. The darkness will not remain for much longer. Turn to Me and find all you need.”

 

Isaiah‬ ‭60:1-3‬ ‭(AMP)

“Arise [from spiritual depression to a new life], shine [be radiant with the glory and brilliance of the Lord]; for your light has come, and the glory and brilliance of the Lord has risen upon you. For in fact, darkness will cover the earth and deep darkness will cover the peoples; but the Lord will rise upon you [Jerusalem] and His glory and brilliance will be seen on you. Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising.”

“Look and see, for everyone is coming home! Your sons are coming from distant lands; your little daughters will be carried home. Your eyes will shine, and your heart will thrill with joy, for merchants from around the world will come to you. They will bring you the wealth of many lands.”

 

Isaiah‬ ‭60:15-18‬ ‭(NLT‬‬)

‭‭“Though you were once despised and hated, with no one traveling through you, I will make you beautiful forever, a joy to all generations. Powerful kings and mighty nations will satisfy your every need, as though you were a child nursing at the breast of a queen. You will know at last that I, the Lord, am your Savior and your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Israel. I will exchange your bronze for gold, your iron for silver, your wood for bronze, and your stones for iron. I will make peace your leader and righteousness your ruler. Violence will disappear from your land; the desolation and destruction of war will end. Salvation will surround you like city walls, and praise will be on the lips of all who enter there.”

Isaiah‬ ‭60:19-21‬ ‭(NLT‬‬)

“No longer will you need the sun to shine by day, nor the moon to give its light by night, for the Lord your God will be your everlasting light, and your God will be your glory. Your sun will never set; your moon will not go down. For the Lord will be your everlasting light. Your days of mourning will come to an end. All your people will be righteous. They will possess their land forever, for I will plant them there with my own hands in order to bring myself glory.”

Let us continue to pray that the Lord’s redemptive, restorative work will be done in Syria and that divine intervention will take place to eradicate the enemy strongholds in the land. Enough is enough with the innocent bloodshed.
