Time to Lift Anchor: The Threshing Floor

November 19, 2024

While in morning prayer, the Lord spoke to me, saying:

“In this day and hour, there is a fresh impartation and infilling of the empowerment to move forward and upward. There is fresh wind being loosed upon My people to come out of the space of preparation and incubation that they have been in. This place served as a chamber of hope being secured like an anchor for the soul; but now it is time to lift anchor and sail on into the greater glory in the greater surrender. There are new horizons to be brought into, new territories to explore and possess, and new promises and dreams to manifest.

Now, come into the higher realms of glory that I have set into place. The door is in the floor. As you go low like Mary and release extreme devotion, regardless of what it looks like, Heaven will respond as the fragrance of love rises in a sweet surrender.”

All throughout the night, lyrics to a song reverberated from my spirit to the Lord,

“I want more than influence
I’m tired of empty vain pursuits
I’m just longing for Your presence
Just to give it all for You

You’re worth more than influence
You’re worth more than vain pursuits
You’re worth more than what’s in it for me
So I’ll give it all for You

Jesus Jesus
This pearl of great price
This treasure of mine

Jesus Jesus
Forever my friend
Even till the end”

For a time, we have been in a place of hanging onto Hope, which serves as the anchor for our soul that Faith adheres to. It has been the seed lying ‘dormant’ in the soil in and out of seasons. It has been the very thing that has sustained us through the falling away season when all appeared to have fallen to the ground in death. It has sustained and maintained the promise of life; all while hidden under the cleansing of the snowfall in harsh winters as a blanket of purification was cast upon all that remained. Now, the seasons have changed yet again and early spring time has come. Now, the rays of the Son saturate the earth, beckoning the seed to sprout forth its destiny and purpose; and to stretch forth its hand to receive the newness of life being released.

The Lord says,

“Do not despise the day of small beginnings, nor abhor the size of the seed sprouting forth; for in due season, My Spirit wind will breath fresh faith upon all that remains and carry with it the multiplication of harvest and fruit.

Yes, you will see and know that My hand is upon all that you contain from what has remained through the purging and the cleansing.

So, I say to you, you cannot stay hidden any longer! It is time to come forth and to stretch forth your hand into the field, for behold! The Harvest is ripe for the picking! The beauty of surrender has yielded its proper first fruits!

And I say to you, bring Me your first fruits and see what I will do! Will I not add to you more than you anticipated or imagined? Will I not release to you treasures untold or unheard of?

For those who will trust Me with Faith, they will find Me in the field! They will find Me in the Harvest! They will find Me in the storehouses! And they shall lack no good thing!”

Hebrews 11:1-3 TPT
“Now faith brings our hopes into reality and becomes the foundation needed to acquire the things we long for. It is all the evidence required to prove what is still unseen. This testimony of faith is what previous generations were commended for. Faith empowers us to see that the universe was created and beautifully coordinated by the power of God’s words! He spoke and the invisible realm gave birth to all that is seen.”
Matthew 13:44-46 TPT
““Heaven’s Kingdom realm can be illustrated like this: “A person discovered that there was hidden treasure in a field. Upon finding it, he hid it again. Because of uncovering such treasure, he was overjoyed and sold all that he possessed to buy the entire field just so he could have the treasure. “Heaven’s Kingdom realm is also like a jewel merchant in search of rare pearls. When he discovered one very precious and exquisite pearl, he immediately gave up all he had in exchange for it.””
Matthew 3:12 TPT
“He comes with a winnowing fork in His hands and comes to His threshing floor to sift what is worthless from what is pure. And He is ready to sweep out His threshing floor and gather His wheat into His granary, but the straw He will burn up with a fire that can’t be extinguished!””

We have entered into the threshing floor; where fruitful seeds and dead religious deeds are separated by the wind of The Spirit of Holiness. Though the Forge fires continue to purge and purify; now is the time for only what has been sanctified to remain.

Psalms 34:10 TPT
“Even the strong and the wealthy grow weak and hungry, but those who passionately pursue the Lord will never lack any good thing.”
Mark 14:3-9 TPT
“Now Jesus was in Bethany, in the home of Simon, a man Jesus had healed of leprosy. And as he was reclining at the table, a woman came into the house, with an alabaster flask filled with the highest quality of fragrant and expensive oil. She came to Jesus, and with a gesture of extreme devotion, she broke the flask and poured out the precious oil over His head. But some were highly indignant when they saw this, and they complained to one another, saying, “What a total waste! It could have been sold for a great sum, and the money could have benefited the poor.” So they scolded her harshly. Jesus said to them, “Leave her alone! Why are you so critical of this woman? She has honored Me with this beautiful act of kindness. You will always have the poor, whom you can help whenever you want, but you will not always have Me. When she poured the fragrant oil over Me, she was preparing My body in advance of My burial. She has done all that she could to honor Me. I promise you that as this wonderful gospel spreads all over the world, the story of her lavish devotion to Me will be mentioned in memory of her.””

It is a time to be like Mary. Undignified and fearless, she lavishly poured out her life like a drink offering to the Lord. She not only gave of everything she possessed to glorify her King; but she also laid herself down at His feet as low as she could go, and washed his feet with her tears. A woman’s hair is her crowning glory (1 Cor. 11:15). This word in the Greek translates as a “prayer shawl”.

Symbolically, she was casting down her crown at His feet through her heart’s cry and her soaking prayers rising as a beautiful incense before her Savior and Lord. She was enabled to see what was unseen in the natural and honored what was overlooked and undervalued by those who should have been awakened to the eternal significance of what and Who they were hosting.

She appeared foolish, but to Jesus, it was the costliest of surrender and the beauty of sacrifice that moved His heart so deeply to render an eternal record of her adoring faith for generations to draw upon.

May we press in with unwavering faith, a steadfast focus, heartfelt determination, and undeterred devotion as we go low to receive the promise. It is this posture that will activate a mighty army fit and equipped for war, as His Warrior Bride!
